Shutter Actuations/Count & Video Shooting

Help me get my head around this:
A Canon 7D is rated for 150,000 shutter actuations.
Does shooting video at 30fps count as shutter actuations?
If it does it would mean 1800 shutter actuations in 1min of video or 9000 per 5min.
Is there any maximum rating/time for shooting videos before the shutter packs it in?
Can someone explain briefly how it works please

Gday mate, rest easy, video won't kill your dslr. The shutter actuation rating is based on the amount of times the shutter opens and closes (ie you press the button, the shutter opens exposes the sensor to light and then shuts). When you shoot video, the shutter simply opens and exposes the sensor to light. The 30fps etc is simply how many images the sensor records every second, the shutter remains open the whole time.

Also shutter actuation ratings can be hit and miss, it is anyones guess when a shutter will fail, I have heard of them failing after maybe 50,000 and others outlasting the camera itself. It is just a guide, don't get worried about it to much.
