Gday to all. I would like to know what members think of these 4x screw-on macro filters for an alternative to macro lenses. I have seen some pics on AP and to me they seem to be very affective. Regards Dave..

Gday Phil. After looking at the link I think i would prefer the filter type as you do not need to remove your lens, it is suitable for telephoto lenses and you can get way back from scary critters Tanks for your help it is appreciated. Cheers Mate... PS $18 bucks off ebay for a set of four, cant go wrong Phil...
