    De-coding A Nikon Repair Quote

    Hi there,

So Nikon currently have my D2X and AFS 500/4 which have been giving me soft images lately... I got the quote back today and it seems that the camera body is to blame (which I suspected)

Can anyone help me de-code what some of the items on the quote mean?

    • I SUBSTRATE UNIT(ROHS)
    • LIGHT SHIELD SEET
    • REWIND SIDE RUBBER
    • APRON BOTTOM RUBBER

The rest are pretty self explanitory.

    Thanks for any insights :-)

Nothing there rings any bells in my empty head.

A quick google of the first term seems to bring up things about electrics and ROHS as Removal of Hazardous Substances.
