Yes, you can.
The filter adapter will basically fit onto any lens so long as you have the adapter ring to mount it on.
However, with the 10-22 be aware you will almost certainly strike so problems in the P-Series

As Scotty says, the wider lenses can be an issue with the P system where the filter holder is visible in the photos. This occurs generally through the 10-14 mm range, and is not specific to the canon lens, rather all wide angle lenses. However, a small crop of the resultant photos and you are generally good to go.
