    Dell 2209wa IPS panel

Was checking out monitors and saw that Dell have the 2209wa IPS panel for around $300. Has anyone used this monitor? Seems very cheap for an IPS monitor, but if does the job well for photo editing then one would assume it's going to better than a TN panel at the same price.....
please ask before PP my images

I've been thinking about a monitor for a while too now. This one gets a pretty good review.

yes it's tempting just to check it out as at that price it's as cheap as a TN panel...

I have had one of these for the past 12 months and find it very good and once calibrated find that my print to monitor camparison is very close. For the money I don't think you can go wrong. You can find another 15 page review here, http://www.prad.de/en/monitore/revie...l#Introduction

I've been looking at the Dell U2410 and U2711 lately...both are IPS and have great reputations...

FYI, Harris technology sell the U2410 cheaper then Dell's online store. Harris doesn't have the U2711 though
