    Home made Light Box

I eventually put the finishing touches on my homemade Light Box. Here are some shots of the results. I was fairly pleased with them.

Great job on your light box. The photos have turned out great. They could have been taken in a million dollar light box.

    Thanks for the comments guys!

Coolie - the sides are made out of a cheap white, slightly transparent, polyester type material. I couldn't get a piece of cardboard long enough to reach top to bottom that fits inside as the backdrop. Instead I used the cardboard I did have as the backdrop but used the same white material over it held on with velcro dots. I am able to take off the white material and replace it with the black material ( which also has velcro dots). I just need a few more different colours to add to the collection.

Carmen - I think this one cost me about $15.00 all up. Very cheap

Next project - a couple of home made soft boxes!

Thanks Tony - maybe Product photography will be my thing? It took a bit of playing around with the off camera flashes to get the lighting right bit persistance paid off in the end.

The hardest and most time consuming part was cutting the sides of the box. It just took me forever to finish it because I kept putting it off as a holiday job and then getting too busy in the holidays.

Was it you who did the funny tutorial on here about how to make one? It was great and I keep thinking I must get around to doing it. Yours works well, the products look great.

Look for a firm that produces corrugated cardboard boxes. They'll probably supply single sheets.

Nice images, I especially like the solo bottle shots. What did you use for lighting?

    Really like the photos.

Do you have a link of how you made it or an online tutorial?

Would like to have a go and making one.

    Thanks,
    Taylor
