Monitor on K20D not staying on

    Hi

Just went to format my SD card and I can't get my monitor to stay on. It only stays on for about 1 1/2 sec so I cant get to the settings menu. I did notice the other day that the Fn button was doing the same thing. I have no problems looking at shots taken or 'info'.

My battery is showing full charge but I've put it on the charger anyway to freshen it up.

    Any ideas or similar experiences.

    Cheers

    No, but...

    - Grip? remove it
    - Any stuck buttons?
    - Ring CR Kennedy and ask support

No grip or stuck buttons, and it's way out of the 12 month warranty period.

Will Kennedy's still talk to me ?

Do Pentax have a two button reset? Nikon has a feature where we can press and hold two buttons on the camera and it resets the camera to factory default. Maybe you have something like this available for your camera, check the manual?

    Thanks Rick & Kym

I just put the battery back in and all is good.

The battery was showing a full charge so the charge indicator may have a gliche.

    Cheers
