    Fake high speed photography .

This is and isn't high speed photography . I used two SB800s at 1/128th power but the subjects weren't moving very fast . I put them on a table , hit it from underneath with a hammer and let the sound activated switch fire the flash .

I wouldn't worry mate, it is the final image that counts, not how it was achieved nor the gear used to achieve it.
In fact I reckon by getting a bullet "frozen" in flight your way is just about as effective as doing it the "genuine way" but with far less risk and expense.

You don't have to spend a lot - you can do it with a simple switch , it just involves a bit more skill .

Excellent, Desmond. The more sound activated stuff you do and share, the more HWMBO will make me a switch!
