Canon MOV format conversion and compression

Hi there, I know it is probably a sin to request help here on movie files. But here goes: Does anyone know of a way to convert and compress the Canon movies MOV files?
Best Regards, Mark (Criticism encouraged on all my photos. Thanking you for your guidance).

    (I want: Canon EF 24-105 mm f4L IS | Canon 50mm f1.4 prime | Cokin filters (NDx1; GNDx1) | Sun reflector)

Definitely not a sin to ask about movie files mate, video seems to have become a part of everyday DSLR / compact life so it is an entirely fair topic on this site.

Can't help you with an answer though as I struggle with the complexity of a TV remote control.

Hi Mark. I did a couple some years ago when I had a Kodak camera, but I can't remember what prog I used, and I suspect I would have since deleted it.

A full version of Apple Quiktime will do it (not the player), but in the meantime, there are a few free refs online if you search on "free mov converter". Be careful what you get, though. Am.

I use " Video Convert Master " that will convert it to any format you like, just google that name and you'll get their website.

    Cheers
