    Micro adjust on 50D,how to??

    Hi Folks

I used my 50D with my 400 mm L F5.6 for the first time today.

Some of the pics were good the odd one great, and quite a few so-so.

I am wondering if someone could explain how to do the 'micro adjust' I hear people talk

about on this camera body.I use the 400 mm l on my 450D and its great,on the 50D it does not feel as 'sure footed',or lock on to target and focus as quick or good.So may be a slight adjustment needed.

I know there is one lady here, named Shelly with the 50D and 400 mmL combo, hope you read this and may be give some pointers.

Might take a while to get used to new rig.

Thanks for any help and pointers,

    Regards FB

I've done a thread about it here for my 7D but I think they are the same. In post #14 of that thread I have posted a link to a guide that I found very useful including a test chart as well as how I altered it a little. There are a few methods and I have tried many of them, but I found that method the easiest for me.

    Thanks Etherial

I will check that out,I had another test,I checked,it may not be a huge issue,I compared same pics one from 450D and 50D with same lens and settings of same fence post,on reflection there
    seems little difference.
