I spent a few hours at Bathurst today watching the transporter parade and then to the showgrounds watching Lowndes and Whincup racing souped up lawn-mowers !

are you heading upn the mount later in the week?

I will be there from tomorrow on and i cant wait,i go every year as im from Bathurst originally and all my family still live there,so its a great chance to see everyone and watch the races too

I think I will give the races a miss this year for 2 reasons. I am currently off work waiting on shoulder surgery and even walking around yesterday for a couple of hours with the camera aggravated it
and the weather doesn't look to good for the weekend. Bathurst has had 7mm of rain overnight and more rain or showers are expected. Soft ....... yes. Smart ........ yes !!

sounds fair enough to me ,if the rain is to bad i just watch it on tv at my dads place which is so close to the mount that you can hear it all
