    Tamron 90mm Macro - Heeelp

    Hi,

I just got my Tamron 90mm for my K7 and all the instructions are in Chinese, anyone know where I can find an English Version please?

In the meantime, a question for those in the knowledge:

What is the purpose of the Aperture Ring at the base of the lens? It comes up with f........ if I have it on anything but A and doesn't function.

    I appreciate any info.

    Thank you.

    Naomi.

Ok, The F---- is when you are manually setting aperture using the ring.
Bottom line -just leave it on A and set the aperture via the camera control.

FYI only... see: http://www.ausphotography.net.au/for...ad.php?t=30767 re: manual settings of aperture.

I want that lens! tell us how it goes for you!

set the aperture to the largest number Naomi and lock it...if there is a lock. That should fix the f...problem. I have an older version so I can`t go and have a look. You will enjoy this lens...it`s a great value for money lens which performs beautifully.

I have the same lens (and camera ). Love it! The lens has barely come off the camera since I got it 2 weeks ago! As Kym suggests, I just use the 'A' setting and set everything through the camera, much easier.
