The more I learn the less I know !
Very nice, milspec. I was up in Mudgee in NSW last night ogling the night sky and the bright bands of the MW through a pair of 7x50 binocs. I would have swept across this I suspect, as it is "just East" of Scorpius. It was so good, but not quite like the video. (While so regarding the heavens, I thought, no hope of this in Sydney, especially with all the rain - of which there was precious little up there.)

The effect of the lens is obvious (slower on the sides, fast through the center.
