Here is a photo I took wen I had the camera in hand not too long ago, I was just expirementing with the lens I had on it, and I really liked the way the raindrop sort of fractals nice and even after it explodes from impact!
Taken just outside the back of my home, when I was on the varanda.

Yeah this is an interesting image, nice shallow DOF you've done well to get the exploding drop, I like the drop trails in the background, and the little water trails from the exploding drop.
The choice of mono(sepia) treatment I think invites an extra look on a shot that may have otherwise been overlooked.
I think its a nice job all round

Wow, great timing! You could straighten the leaning verticals though!
Personally, I don't like the sepia toning and would probably have gone for a cooler, blue tint, but that's just me.
