OH!! ... and don't forget about the 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 for APS-C cameras too.

Essentially and equivalent to the 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 for full frame cameras.

    Sounds cool

The new 70-200 with image stabilization could be very interesting - I think the first 3rd party lens manufacture to offer this in their version of 70-200 lens

I want to know the price especially 85mm f/1.4!! Finally, a 85mm from a third party. I love my 85mm f/1.8 but if the price is good, I may be tempted!

well theres the Samyang 85mm f1.4 for all major mounts, very good reviews too and can be had for under $400AUD online, only trade off is its purely MANUAL FOCUS though

so I got my fingers crossed on this Sigma one and the pricing hehe

I wonder why there's not more third party primes. Judging by everyone's reaction (including mine) the 85mm 1.4'll be a real hit, pending performance of course.
Dare I dream Sigma'll make a 200 F2 OS!!! I don't think I could ever justify laying 6k down for the Nikon version, as an amateur.
Actually all the announced lens are pretty nice. Good on Sigma.

DPR's interview with the Sigma CEO HERE

I like his quote of the 85/1.4

.... 85mm F1.4, which has been attracting a lot of attention at the show. 'It's similar in concept to the 50mm F1.4 - it's bigger, heavier and more expensive than OEM lenses but achieves higher performance,' says Yamaki.
Lets just hope that the results live up to the hype then.. but if it's in the same vein as the 50/1.4, does that imply it's about as expensive, or more..

recent(today) research into prices again still sees the Siggy 50/1.4 about the same price as the Nikon 50/1.4(approx $700-750)!!

if history is to repeat itself again, Nikon will release it's AF-S 85mm f/1.4 G(probably with VR) about 6 months or so later. That's roughly what happened when Sigma announced their 50/1.4.

    This is interesting 50-500 OS

For Sony and Pentax mount, the built-in OS function of this lens can be used even if the camera body is equipped with an image sensor shift anti-shake system. As compensation for camera shake is visible in the view finder, the photographer can easily check for accurate focus and ensure there is no subject movement.

Not long ago they also made an update of there 17-70mm f2.8-4.5 DC lens. They now have a 17-70mm f2.8-4.0 DC with OS & HSM. I have the old 17-70 but that new 17-50 f2.8 might be a good lens to update to. Just got the APO 70-200mm f2.8 EX DG HSM II
and now they go and release a new model.
