    iPhone synching question

I asked this on another forum but frankly could not understand the reply!

I have my iPhone synched to my desktop iMac, no problems. IF I connect it to my laptop is there a way to 'back synch' so the contacts, email links and bookmarks get copied over the laptop? This would be handy for the NZ trip.

Any advice (and please keep it simple and step by step so this old lady can follow it) most appreciated.

The iPhone is not setup to do this, but you can get around it. The reason Apple don't officially allow it, is that you can then put all your songs etc onto another computer, thus rather than buying more copies of the songs through iTunes, you just make em.

Couple of instructions on how to do it here and here

If you can jailbreak your phone, you should jail break it and install Appsync. Once installed, you will be able to sync your phone with as many computers as you wish.

Biggest benefit being, you don't need to do anything other than installing Appsync. Everything happens automatically

I have seen a few staff use this program and it has worked well for them.
