    Hoya HD or Pro1 filter?

I am in the search for a new Hoya UV filter. Does anyone know what the Hoya HD filter series are like compared to the Pro1 line? I have only used Hoya, how do Marumi PRO UV filters compare?
please ask before PP my images

I have a Hoya Pro1 UV and I can't say I have had any problems with it... I can't compare it to the HD though as I have never owned one...
    Cheers, Brad

I use the Pro 1 UV and am very happy with them. I'm not sure what the advantage of a HD filter gives? I have heard it has a scratch resistant coating, maybe thats the only advantage?

I want to know if the Hoya HD filters are in the same league as the Pro1 Filters in terms of their glass coatings etc.

Just got a HD filter, so will see what it's like when it comes. If anyone is interested can post a comparison between the pro1 and HD when it comes.

Thomas, I've got a HD Circ PL filter. Seems pretty good, I can't spot any obvious problems with it. The main reason I liked it was because it was meant to be finger print resistant and scratch resistant, since my gears gets a little knocked around and dirty it seemed like a good idea to go that way.

Yeah the HD's seem to be fingerprint proof which would be a bonus, would be interested to see what you think!
