It's a Rainbow Over at Dam.

I was practicing taking some photo's near this dam the other day.. and after a small shower of rain, a rainbow appears. I do wish I had more experience at taking photos at the time, as I'm sure a better shot could of been taken. However practice is what makes perfect. Here is one of the photo's tho, made the frame in photoshop.

    Used Sigma 10-20 Wide angle.

done well, good capture. A bit hard to deal with the light and dark areas with these ones. Were you using a tripod? Really like the reflections and the blue and yellow highlights in the clouds in the background. Looks like a nice place to live.

    Thanks Selaw.
    Thanks biggles.

No I didn't use a tripod for this shot, quite funny I actually discovered a tripod in my shed the next day. So I have been using that at the moment, not the best tripod, although it does the job for me at the moment, I havent had my camera for that long and I'm still pretty new to everything... so focusing on learning the camera at present and buying gear when I can. So a new tripod hopefully soon though

Yeah I live down in Tasmania... bit further south of Hobart in the bush.
