    Jack Russell Puppies (my kids)

    Hi

I joined a little while ago and introduced myself but that's as far as I got - has been a bit hectic at my place because my Jack Russell's just had puppies.

Richard had asked for me to post some photos of my puppies so here they are (sorry for the delay - wanted to wait until I had some time to view other posts and make comments).

Hope you like my first post (besides my introduction) and I hope to contribute more.

thanks - this is her first litter. The puppies are very chubby, she is really taking care of them - we have to make sure she eats at least four times a day as they really take it out of her. They are starting to eat food now but more just for a taste then anything else.

It was a great thing to be a part of - I did help break the first couple of sacks - more so that they were taking a little while to break and I was nervous that the puppies would drown after all that effort. But I didn't really need to worry.

They are really starting to walk around now (not very good at it). Apparently the other morning (1-1:30am) they were making a lot of noise, my partner woke up and watched them running and launching themselves on to each other - he said it was very cute - they did it for about 10minutes and then went back to sleep.

    More photos will follow.

    Lovely litter of pups!

Just love Jack Russells, they have such character I bred them for a few years too, lost my 'baby' a year ago (she was 16!) and just haven't been up to getting another one since.

Sorry to hear your girl passed last year. I agree, they do have great character. They are really fun to watch at this age, everything is new to them. Here's a couple of photos from today (3 1/2 weeks old).

These puppies are very cute, and you have done a good job on the photography side of things.

Jack Russell's are one of my two favourite breeds (see our avatar), and I really miss my little puppy. He is now 7 and thankfully in one respect has grown up a lot- but I still sometimes miss the baby days.

Thanks Photogenic, I am now Puppy-Clucky again.

Thanks selaw, Cat, Lani, Mary Annd, and Di - the puppies stay in their enclosure at the moment so they aren't too much trouble......for now...... I can tell that will change within the week - I'm looking forward to that though.

Di, glad I could make you puppy clucky again (we have a few puppies for sale if you are interested )

The little guys (and girls) had their first adventure on grass yesterday.

I am trying to link the photos from flickr so forgive me if it doesn't work but please let me know if you can't see the photos. (OK not sure what I'm doing - I can give you a link to flickr but can't put on here - will work out soon enough).

Thanks Mary Anne and Jim - we think they're cute too.

People who breed regularly must find it hard - I already know there will be tears when they go to their new homes (well not all of them are leaving)
