Just a few images from the Thunderstorm that passed overhead today.

That's my car. Dents on the bonnet, roof and boot lid as well as a broken windscreen.


Hail on the lawn.


The thunderstorm heading south.


The worst part was that just after the last image I went and did the weeks shopping. Whilst I was away we got hit with another storm that partially flooded my lounge.

What a terrible time it would have been for you all there, nature can be very cruel at times.
Sorry to see all this but I hope it get back to normal real soon.

As far as I know Odille yes, but am awaiting the insurance co to get back to me. One insurer is saying two years before they know the full cost of the damage.
Mary Anne I lost the carpet in the lounge so am waiting for the owner to get his act together and we have struck a deal that I'm getting wooden floor. Better for my asthma.
The hardware store where I work has run out of some of the repair products as we normally sell very little at this time of year and suddenly we go through nearly a years worth in one week. Things are slowly getting back to normal.
