    Photoshop

I am new to dslr photography and am currently using olympus master 2 for my editing. I hear most photographers and photography books refering to photoshop. My question is, would I be better off with this program and are there different versions.

    Any help is much appreciated

Photoshop is rather expensive, but there is an "elements" version 8 that is quite affordable at under $200. Will do everything you need plus more, it's far from being just the basics.

    An honest C+C please!

Agree with Harves. Photoshop is over $1000.00 (unless you are a student), but Photoshop Elements has most of the features at a reasonable price.

Excellent. Thank you to everyone who responded. That price at office works sounds great.
