There is, but as a new member you cannot use it till you reach 30 days membership AND 50 posts (both must be met). This is in place as we have had stolen gear offered on the site in the past and anyone trying to get rid of hot camera gear doesn't want to wait 30 days to do so.

That makes sense, anyone selling stolen gear wont wait for a week let alone a month.

I reckon thieves should be shot. Laws are not tough enough for thieves.

Won't work. The classifieds rules state that to use them you need 'regular active participation'. We deem that to be consistent posting over at least the last 2 weeks. So rushing and doing a heap of posts just to post to classifieds, will still mean your ad is not allowed.

I guess the rules are the rules but being the quiet shy type I read a lot on this forum but don't ask many questions or do many posts. I find the information I want or need by searching .. cheers Brian

Umm. Ausphotography is a forum. By definition a forum is a place for everyone to comment and have their say, present their ideas etc. The site was designed completely for member interaction. Join in, everyone is friendly. How about showing us some of your photos?
