    Pine River

During last week I went for a trip to the Pine River (at Petrie) and then ventured up to the North Pine Dam. Quite a few people were up at the dam checking out the levels and flood gates.

    1) The Pine River near Old Gympie Road

    2) from another angle

    3) The railway line nearby

    4) Part of the park flooded

    5) Plants that usually arent surrounded by water

    6) Quite a few birds feasting on the pine cones

    7) Standing there taking photos under pine trees is an extreme sport. You hear these "thuds" all around you, it's the birds throwing pine cones to the ground lol

    8) The flock taking off

    9) Flood gates at the dam

    10) From the other side of the dam

really like the 1st shows how high the water is etc - have you put an effect over it - doesnt look natural (hdr'd?)?

Thanks Cat, it's not HDR, I just increased the fill lighting & blacks almost to the max in lightroom, but I liked that it gave a HDR effect so used it for all the water photos in this set.
