    How to shrink movie files?

    Are there any good free programs to easily compress movie files so as one can upload them on places such as facebook and youtube?

    I had read something in last months APC about this. I left my copy with a mate as he wanted to read the bit about air filers. Has anyone got a copy that could look to see if they can find the name of the software?

    I've used it recently(but on my old WinXp installation) with success.

    Another good free program to try is Handbrake - should be able to do what you want...
