PSE 5 - saving a JPG?

I am still struggling with getting my RAW images across to PSE5. Actually, I can get them across OK (I think!!). When in DPP I save my RAW files as 16 bit TIFFS and then I open them in PSE.

When I try to save them to a JPG for printing the only JPG option I am getting is "JPEG 2000". The place where I get my photos printed doesn't recognise the JPEG 2000. Can anyone tell me why I'm not getting the usual JPG option. Is this something that only happens when you import from DPP?

What am I doing wrong?????

I believe it's because you're in 16 bit mode.

If you save as 8bit TIF/F's you should be able to save as a standard jpg.
