    Jedi Lightsaber in Photoshop (Video)

I few people here and on flickr have been asking me how I have been doing my lightsabers in my 365 photo project for this weeks images.

So whilst processing today's shot I did a video of my post processing. I hope some you you can then create your own star wars shots of either yourself or your kids. Its really very easy to do in Photoshop. I'd love to see your results.

Video can be seen on my blog @ http://www.thephotojourney.com/2010/...ideo-tutorial/

Results should look something like this.

I'd like to try this in a video... Thanks for the tutorial though, very simple but very overlooked.

Alternatively you could try it my way....(which may not look as nice, but is a lot more fun)

It's hard to remove the colour cast in the kids faces though especially as the ambient lighting level was so low, and the lightsaber was so damned bright!

Possibly a bit more "realistic" though. So often people overlook that these would be huge light sources...
