SC 28 After market units ??

Hi all, has any one purchased and or used an SC28 cord like these non OEM versions

Or should i just buy the Nikon one. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't even bothered to look up the "genuine" product price but if it has the capital N on the packet it is going to be probably 4 times the price of that one Viper, the way the Chinese are manufacturing parts like that these days I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.
The only thing I would consider if I were you is to buy a longer one as it is far easier to loop a slightly too long cord up as opposed to trying to stretch a slightly too short one further when the time comes that you need just that l-i-t-t-l-e bit more. I have seen them on the net at 3m and I think from memory even 10m long.

Thanks for the quick reply Andrew, i agree about the length of the cord. I found a 3 mt version for $10 more.
Looks like i will pull the trigger and buy one
