    Aaahhhh where to begin.

28 f1.4 probably for now. I just purchased one of my lens lusts and notice a few of you have it listed.

Words cannot describe this lens. Now to get a FF camera. Its currently being used on a D90.

I hear you mate. I have been saving for my 1st L series and a 50D upgrade for 6 months and just short of my goal something comes up and I have to start again.

Totla Lust for a 70-200 L f/2.8 IS USM, but have to look at alternative:

Canon 70-300 IS USM - affordable but no lusting

Canon 70-200 f/4 L USM - non IS lusting, presently affordable just

Canon 70 - 200 f/2.8 L USM - not quite affordable yet, maybe second hand Lusting
Please be honest with your Critique of my images. I may not always agree, but I will not be offended - CC assists my learning and is always appreciate

I'm coveting a 24mm f1.4L for some reason. I have this range covered by two lenses already - 17-40 & 24-105 - but I can still hear it calling my name. Other than that, a 100-400 would, I'm sure, improve my life enormously.

What I would like to get is the new 400mm f/4 DO by Canon - I dread to think of the price - cost if I buy one is : cost = divorce!!

My all purpose lens (somewhat like 3rd gear on my car) that seems to do everything is the 85mm F1.2(II) on the 5D.

Nikon 17-35mm, I couldn't justify it after months of deliberation so ended up getting a 20mm prime.

I'm tossing up between the Canon: TS-E 17mm f4L or the TS-E 24mm f3.5L II as the lens to lust over, but first I need to get the EF 16-35mm f2.8L II (at the end of this month, hopefully).
    Osprey Photography

    Canon: 5D Mk II, 40D, 10D all gripped, 10-22 f3.5-4.5, 17-40 f4L, 24-70 f2.8L, 24-105 f4L IS, 70-200 f2.8L IS, 100-400 f4.5-5.6L IS, 50 f1.4, 100 f2.8 Macro and other assorted accessories.

Some stalk, some chase and some pursue... but I hunt.

This lens isn't new. It was introduced in 2001.

It doesn't seem to be very common, though.

Even though the price is so good at the moment, I'd still feel guilty.
You would not regret it though, for a second, ever !!!!
