YSSY or Richmond

Hi all,

Going to do some photos on the weekend, either at YSSY or Richmond, after some advise.

If I go to YSSY I want to try and get some head on shots of planes landing, any tips on the best time for this and where.

Also would I be able to get an shots from Richmond? I thought of driving to Williamtown but its to far, does anything fly out of Richmond on weekends?

YSSY anytime there are planes, but without long lens gear, getting head on shots can be difficult. About the only opportunity you have for that is landing RW07 viewed from General Holmes Drv but it's a long way down to the southern threshold.

Pretty hard to get good straight on frontal shots for 16/34.

Don't think you will get too close at YSRI to be honest.

Only never seem to go the right time for Head On Shots
