    Playing around with sepia and b&w

    I took these down in Pemberton, a timber town in WA's southwest. Not sure if it works, but it looks OK

    It's an ideal subject for what you are doing. I'd suggest you look at some sepia-toned prints; you haven't got the colour quite right
    I like the monochrome print best.

    I like the sepia's. Maybe a bit of film grain to add to the authenticity

    Thanks guys

    I'll tweak the pics up a bit tonite to put some film grain and adjust the colours a little - first time doing this, so I'm going to bumble along for a bit

    Yes, the darker tone is an improvement.

    Thanks, Carmen. I'll be doing more experimentation with monochrome sometime later this year, but I'll post it in the relevant forum then.
