24 hours of winter in Denmark

I would like to show you 24 hours of winter, and these are my decorations on the balcony.

I have a small Christmas tree, and this was early wednesday morning

    The bikes wednesday morning

In the afternoon everything was white and beautiful

In the evening - this is not some kind of fungi, but the streetlamp just before the snow cap falls off

Just the right mood for Christmas

Even the picket fence has been decorated

My little tree nearly can´t hold all the snow

And Thursday morning -the bikes looked like this

We had approx 50 cm of snow during the last 24 hours.
    Thanks for looking
    Ruth

My camera is a Minolta Konica G, 6 megapixels

you got some great shots here Ruth. Love the bikes, both versions and the street lamp. It looks like a snow cone....snow pun unintended. Love the snow"person" too.

For a minute there I thought it was Denmark, Western Australia

Great pics, I wanna go there again now!! we drove from Göteborg to Kobenhavn a couple of years ago in late summer, and went to see Princess Mary, but she wasn't home

The Øresund bridge is spectacular but the return toll was 600 Swedish Kronor / AUD$120!!!

    Thanks for the comments.
To Seastorm: You are very welcome. The toll on the bridge is not that expensive anymore, but we have another bridge between 2 islands, where we have to pay too.

That's good to know, I think I may have another trip to Gothenburg sometime next year, so I would love to go back to Copenhagen again and visit the little mermaid

The snow pics are brilliant. It doesn't snow in the city where I live so snow is quite exotic to me - especially during christmas! Beautiful images btw!

I love the story of transformation that these photos tell - that christmas tree glowing before it got snowed under is a really lovely pic
