    Lightroom 2 Sharpening

Have searched threads for an answer but can't find one.
Does anyone do their sharpening in Lightroom 2?
I'm having a lot of trouble seeing any improvement to my photos when sharpening. I use 1:1 view and even when I go to the limit on the sliders I can't see any difference in my photo at normal view but can see some difference in 1:1 view.
    Amount to about 90
    Radius leave at 1
    Detail to about 80
Have read SK Lightroom 2 book heaps and follow it to the letter.
They just don't look sharp enough to me.
Have 2 posts in Macro, 1 in Transportation & 1 in 50mm comp but can post here if need be.
    Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Thanks
    Carmen

    Re: Lightroom 2 Sharpening

Lr sharpening needs to be viewed at 100%

It's sharpening is very different that usm, I recommend you get Kelby book or do some online research about it

Don't forget also that the sharpening you see within the develop module is only 1/2 the story - it's capture sharpening and in addition to this you apply export sharpening on print or export

    Lr3 is better apparently

In addition I get great results with export sharpening using a usm style settings within the plug in lr/mogrify

Forgot about the export sharpening. Have the Kelby book and view at 100%. Will check out the plug in lr/mogrify.
    Thanks Kiwi.
