    Lightroom file size for AP

    Hi Guys,
Just uploaded photo that I resized in Lightroom 2 to 1024 on the long side. I couldn't find a section to adjust file size so I have uploaded a pic of about 313 kb instead of the max of 250kb. Sorry Mods but I didn't mean for the file to be that big.
I set the quality to 80 should it be much lower? Is this where you adjust the file size?
    Thanks.
    Carmen

if you upload it to AP it will be rejected automatically if it is over 250kb. AP will simply not accept it. If you linked it in from somewhere (like photobucket), it can be any KB size you want as AP does not restrict those. However, remember if you link a photo that is huge (filesize), those on slower internet connections will find it takes ages to download your thread and will often give up, and move onto other threads, rather than wait for a large file to download.

And yes. quality will adjust the size of the file.
