    Cool Black cat at night

Took a couple of photos of a black cat in the dark; unfortunately it blinked in the first photo.

Lol @ the first one. I was wondering if it was my screen and there was something faint in it but then I read what wrote about the blinking.

Number two is freaky. You should get another cat or two and you could totally have a scene from a cartoon, where just the creepy eyes are showing in the shadows lol.

Looks like you had a slight problem with underexposure, Ian.

You need to buy a Kodak Grey Cat for these situations.

Pic #1 is perfect, but how did you manage to pick up 2 huge dust bunnies in the 2nd pic?

Nothing like a good laugh to finish off a very tough week

Thanks ving; not sure if I really left; I was just busy elsewhere

Yeah Rick, I remember that one>>this idea come from a bloke called John from England with a black cat in a coal shed . he taught me the Dragan effect for photos which he used so beautifully on photos of buildings; you would remember him Jules. He just disappeared one day

    Cheers.

In a similar vein while I was mucking around with some sunset shots this one came out of the camera. I just thought it was a different take on the usual blazing sunsets that we like to capture. The horizon was pretty sharp in the original so I don't know how it will come up after downsizing. Still new to the site so hope I'm not being out of place here.

I remember him too, and he disappeared cause he insisted on promoting other forums on AP, he was advised that blatant promotion of other forums breaches the site rules, and he decided AP was not for him at that time.

Interesting; don't remember him being on ap. As far as I know he was well behaved at the other shack. Maybe not!! (it was before I was important there)

Aussie: that an interesting image; but a bit weird!

"A bit weird" is OK with me. There had been a bushfire on the day and the smoke was distorting the shape of the sun. Got a few more interesting shots but again my lack of skills prevented me from really capturing it at it's best. Sorry to hijack the thread. The original cats eyes shot is awesome.
