    First Aid Spider

St. John Ambulance would have been proud of this spider.

A hoverfly passed out, so the spider is trying to resusitate it by giving it mouth to mouth...

Here's a pic of the first aid spider in action....

I thought I'd have a bit of fun with this one, need a bit of humour now and again

This is clearly a very good photo but for me the creepy-factor outweighs the humour!
    great shot.

Now that's putting a positive spin on proceedings....especially as far as the hover fly is concerned.
    Thanks for the chuckle.

Dundunadundunadundunaduuun! First aid spider! To the rescue!

    Good one, thanks!

AP could start like a series of First Aid Spider pics with little side stories.

Thanks for your comments all, though strictly speaking I should have put it in the Macro section

The pic looks a bit overexposed on my home monitors (although it looked OK in my work one )

Ausguitarman, I estimate I was about 7 to 10 cm away from the subject, pretty close. The spider wasn't too worried about me, it was too engrossed trying to revive the hoverfly, bless it's little heart

Alexandra, I'm kinda thinking along the same lines, I suppose that what the Fun section is for
