    Achieving the Star effect.

I am taking some photos this afternoon of my son and his partner before the school formal.

I was thinking about what I could do, and I had a thought that I could sit them in the back of the car, climb in the front and pop a flash through the rear window.

What would be the best aperture to achieve the star effect with that flash from out side. I was thinking maybe f11 - f16 ?

I will be using the 430 EXII on a stand, zoomed to 105mm to get a smaller light source and probably drop the power down to around 1/4.

I know this is very last minute, any advice in next hour would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks zolo

Yeah I did in a fashion, I went f11 and being a bit rushed for time I got one that looked ok and had to move on.

I will post a pic later in the appropriate area
