Somebody with a mac should be able to give you more specific advice I hope Mick but in the meantime are either of these any use to you.

You resize on export. The idea in Aperture is that everything is non-destructive. As a result, all actions are executed at export, including size and filetype determination.
Ciao, Joost
All feedback is highly appreciated!
Hi,
Depends on what you mean by re-sizing. You can crop the image to particular dimensions conforming to standard aspect ratios, or do freeform cropping within Aperture. Also, as mentioned by Jev, you can resize on export.
For example: you have a 4000 x 3000 pixel raw pikkie that's got somebody's ugly mug in shot, so you crop to exclude their head and also reframe the image slightly. It still retains the 4:3 aspect ratio, but is fewer pixels. Later, you decide to export the cropped version as an 800 x 600 jpeg for the weekly competition. You end up with a new jpeg file no larger than 800 x 600.

Thanks for the info guys, problem solved. Much appreciated.
Joost, I have exported thousands of photo's to disks etc, and never taken any notice of the resizing line on the export screen. Old eyes, no brains, Doh.
