    Pignic in the Park

Whilst some of Brisbane were enjoying feasting on brains at the zombie walk, we decided to visit Pignic in the Park hosted by the Cavy Sanctuary. There were lots of guinea pigs and their humans pigniccing in the park, with stalls and competitions and displays for all to enjoy. A few dogs visited, some rats and even a cockatiel. Cutest thing we saw all day was a little piggy following his owner around, he didnt even need a lead!!

Some of the pignic & stalls

    Attack of the rat!

A puppy enjoying his day out... his name is Notso (short for not so good lol)

Some of our rats went along as PR for a local club, they enjoyed the cool breezes and chilling in their hammocks when they werent out scaring... i mean entertaining people

Me too, rats are such characters. I'd love to have one but with 5 cats . . .

Lol, the cats would think all their xmas's came at once if you brought a few ratties home Odille - I've seen you tube videos of cats & rats getting along, but I dont think I'd trust them.

It's a great day out Cat! This is the first year we've visited and it's very family orientated. I wish I got photos of the piggies in their halloween costumes!
