I used to work on Macromedia Director (which is now called Adobe Director) and had produced a number of publications with it, with Flash I thought it would be just another trend for me to learn which I was not willing to spend time on so I didn't bother with it.

A few years later, the question has come up to choose which of the two will last longer if I decide to specialise in either. Does anyone have experiences with either or both?
