    A few yrs ago a robber cut across the Perth zoo to evade Police, climbed into the cassowary enclosure and got attacked by one of these guys. Buy the time he got over the other wall and jumped on the ferry to Barrack St jetty he had bleed to death. Aparently they can be very agreesive.

    Yeah, I would not like to get on the wrong side of those talons. A few people have been "unzipped" by Cassowarys.
