How sad to see it looking so neglected.

BTW - anyone travelling up Cairns way should consider a visit to Australia's most highly acclaimed camera museum at Herberton on the Tablelands
They even have a gold plated Leica, serial No: 00000001 along with lots of other very snazzy things, and lots of stuff even I used in the 60s & 70s etc etc
regards, Phil
thanks guys....it sure does look neglected.
Wow, did it say how old it was? They are probably lucky they have got it at all. That would be great to see. Museums are fun to look through. You never know what you come across.
hi JA....I didn`t look too hard as the print was too small. It certainly is OLD.
ameerat.......haaaaaaa
well spotted..... when I was working up there they also had an historical township/village display there (on your way into the township). It catches people out as its a bit unusual to have a museum like that in such a small township.
Used to be a tin mining town back in the early beginnings of last century. There is the private girls (boarding) school up there & a couple of pubs.
Each winter they have the local tin mining festival. But gee it gets cold brrrr....

thanks Kevin.....I`m not sure whether you mean Bowraville being cold in winter, etc, or Herberton on the tablelands.
