Where to get B+W film processed in Sydney

Hey all, I purchased a roll of black and white film (36 exposure) from Ted's Cameras here in Sydney and when I went back to them to get the roll processed they told me that they can't do it! This is especially strange as this is the only film that they sell in shop!

In any event, does anyone know where I can get it developed? Preferably on the north shore or in the city?

    TIA
    Nikon Devotee: D200, F, F75 (N75), Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 + 55-200mm VR + 50mm 1.8D + 35mm 2.8 Ai-S
Other bits and pieces: Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Home, Velbon CX480 tripod, Lowepro bag, Hoya filters.
Slow shutter speed and low light lover, landscapes and distant subjects also favoured.

This is very odd. Are you saying they ONLY sell B&W film at Teds?

What type of film was it exactly? Is it C-41 or traditional emulsion? If C-41, any lab can do it. If traditional, you may need to call a pro lab since I doubt any photo shops still do trad. b&w.

Or you can do it yourself with a minimal outlay.

There is a shop just a couple of meter down from Teds in Sydney CBD. They are also one of the few places that do slides and medium format.

    This list should be helpful:

I believe Vision Graphics, Vision Image Lab, Platinum Imaging all do BW processing.
    There's also Blanco Negro.

I used to work there- they still have a conventional B&W dip and dunk
machine in use and an Ilfo speed processor.

    They can process 35mm- 5x4 B&W
    Proof
and Print up to whatever size.
    All from B&W neg- conventional.
