Point me towards a cheap (ish) soft box to fit my 430ex II's please.

OK, I guess the title says it all. I've got two umbrella's. I can shoot in to or thru them but I'd like to have at least one, maybe two, soft boxes too. I'm looking for something around the 80cm mark and that I can fit to my 430exII's. I nearly hit the buy button on some the other day but I got the feeling they might be a bit crap. So, could ya recomend one to me please?

    Mick.

Total Photographic had some on display at Kent Town, to suit most Speedlight type strobes. Not sure on the price, but mayb worth looking at.

Yep these are by far the cheapest of their kind .. Ive got 2 of these Mick. Bought my first one from DCW and it cost me $140 .. bought my second one from Servaas significantly cheaper and its slightly bigger.

Great for speedlight strobism and very handy bering portable. like having a mini studio that you can take anywhere

############## is a good store to deal with... I bought my two 43" Convertible Umbrellas, two light stands and two umbrella brackets from them... been very happy with them... Prompt communication too :-)

If you buy from servaas, remember to click through from AP, as they are a site sponsor.

Cheers guys. OK, maybe 80cm was a tad ambitious but the 50 from Andrews AP advertiser looks good. I've clicked the link and I'm quite happy to go with that one but I'm not sure if it comes with that bracket for the flash?

sure does Mick .. Ive got one. It comes with like an "L" shape bracket with a cold shoe mount for the flash You can also remove the shoe to mount a wireless receiver. The kit will have everything you need to get strobing

Yea youll love it Mick .. theyre bloody handy I tell ya. Much more efficient when shooting outdoors than umbrellas. You can contain and direct your light much more accurately with a whole lot less spill.
