Alternative to Apple IPod

I am wanting to get something that can store a load of MP3s so as I can play the device through the player via a FM radio transmitter. I know that the Apple IPods have the jack for such a device, but are there any other alternative players that can do this?

all MP3 players do - you just use the headphones jack socket.

Oh, ok I didn't realise that the FM Transmitters played through the earphone jack. So even an ipod shuffle would work then?

Yes and so will a photo downloader like a P5000 or my Palm T5 or any other PDA
