Anyway, they advised that they don't and are getting some hopefully later this week. So tonight I just online to order and the price has gone up $55!

Who can resist with such great prices right now with the Aussie dollar the way it is. I'm just about to order a body and it's a lot of money for me, so just wondering if others normally choose the insurance option or just go the cheaper postage?

    Thanks in advance

I've been wrong before!! Happy to have constructive criticism though.Gear used Canon 50D, 7D & 5DMkII plus expensive things hanging off their fronts and of course a "nifty fifty".

I placed an order midnight on Thursday, AAE tried to deliver it at 10.25 this morning and I'm in regional Australia! That's faster to get an order from DWI than it is to get letters sent interstate from here! Super impressed, only now I have to wait until tomorrow afternoon to pick up my package, the suspense is going to be a killer!!!

Woohoo just received this morning! Ordered at 1pm on Monday 25th, received at 10:30am today! Lens box was well wrapped in about 5 layers of bubble wrap..took awhile to get into, but definitely worth it

Insurance was only $5 extra so I figured I may as well pay it to be on the safe side.

Has anyone looked at their price on the EF 17-40 f/4L lately? I was just having a squiz and noticed it...$1712.00 AUD...What in the world???...Their other lens prices appear to be ok. I got bought mine from another AP member via Camera Market

I'm sure when I looked not so long ago it was selling for around $900.00 AUD!!...Other places still seem to be around the $900.00/$1000.000 AUD mark e.g. DigitalRev who earn AP commissions by clicking through their link on this site. Surely got to be a typo

I bought my D7000 through DWI - ordered on Sunday, Delivered on Wednesday. Good communication. It was the best price I could find. I also liked that I could track every step of my delivery with DHL. AS big Dazzler said previously - smooth as a babies bot.
