Saving processed images out of CS4

I'll try to keep this simple!

I processed a shot by desaturating from colour, adjusting exposure, contrast & brightness then added a filter to give it a slightly desaturated sepia tone, resized, cropped and sharpened.

When I save it however, whether as JPEG file or PSD file, or as Adobe RGB or sRGB colour profiles I am losing the colour from the filter layer and end up with just the desaturated B&W version of the pic!

Is this enough info for someone to be able to help?

save the psd and put it aside as the 'master'. flatten the image to a single layer, convert to sRGB colour profile, convert to 8 bit, save as jpeg.

either a problem due to saving only one layer, or not the right layer somehow. or a colour profile problem - is it _completely_ desaturation, or just partially? check what the sRGB colour profile will do to your image by setting it as the 'soft profile' option.

Thanks for the tips Michael! I'll have a go using your suggestions and see what I come up with.
