as per title, does anyone here use calculation in ps in pp your images

care to share the technique

calculations let you use mathematical formula to alter colour channels. Its a complex process and most suited to scientific use of photoshop (forensics etc). It certainly can be useful for doing this like eliminating colour casts from photos, but there are easier ways (if you shoot RAW).

What are you hoping to use it for? As there is most likely a much easier way in PS to do the same thing.
