New Sigma Lens - or big typo???

G'day all

From the Nov issue of the "Aust Digital Photography" magazine ... "dSLR Special' [etc etc etc]

The lens is stated as a "Sigma 170 - 500 f5-6.3" and priced at $650
The lens I see referred to on many AP posts is the "Sigma 150 - 500" and I know it's priced at about $1500



At a qwik sqwiz of the Sigma site, I cannot see the above lens listed ... any thoughts from fellow AP 'togs?
So the big Q:- is it a new lens? or a big typo??

November issue, but what year? I think you need to change barbers.

The 170-500 came out some years ago and from what I remember reading was not one of Sigma's finest.

If you looked like Kym - I would say you DO need to change Barbers [no offence Kym - we all love ya]
Magazine is latest issue

But lens & specs mirror the current 150-500 ... and I was surprised to see this lens in the mag - and it is not listed on the web site quoted in the advert
