Just got elements 7 and Im very new at PP so Im sorry if this is dumb question.Is it possible to remove an object from a single shot or do I have to have a couple of sequenced shots?

I have the Elements 5 and admit haven't looked at E7 yet, but I'm sure it would be capable of doing what you want..E5 certainly can. Not sure if you mean remove something from one picture and transfer it to another...or just remove something from an image to get rid of it.
There should be some kind of "extraction" tool/filter somehwere in E7 to do what you want...and if you just wish to get rid of something then perhaps using the clone tool is the way to go

Thanks seesee gave the clone tool another go and this time it worked.Dont think I done anything wrong the first time
