Picasa

I appear to be having some problems with images hosted on Picasa. I can see them, but when I link them to posts, others at ausphotography sometimes see them and sometimes not. Any suggestions? (Changing hosts seems my best option at present, but Picasa is free )

Try, in Picasa, right click photo, click properties, then in the pop-up that appears use the 'alternative text', copy the link to the right of that, then paste into AP as an IMG link. I have fixed a couple of members Picasa links, using this method.

My "alternative text" is "missing". I have no problem getting a direct link to the image file (e.g.: http://lh4.ggpht.com/_86dXVUGf1H0/Sl..._edited-1.jpg).

It is just that some members don't see it in the post. (I do - with a "preview post", and after it is posted.)
